The Big Red Ball Project

I first seen this project posted on A Cup of Jo by New York artist  Kurt Perschke .

What a creative and interesting project, there are lost of videos showing how the public interact with the ball on the artist website. The artist has taken the ball to cities all around the world and is heading to London tis summer.

Eating Well

As it urns out I gained a few pounds over the last few months. I'm not quite sure how much as I don't have a scale and refuse to get one but my jeans seem quite a bit snugger than usual. So I got back on to my work out routine and started watching what I'm eating. Basically just cutting out pasta and bread should make a difference. Leans meats and lots and lots of veggies and fruit keep my energy up. Tonight we are going out to meet our son for dinner and I thought Pho would be a healthy and light choice plus I always feel stuff after a big bowl of Pho. Does any one know if it is actually a light choice or am I just fooling myself?

The Perfect Jeans

For me the perfect pair of jeans are 100% cotton, NO lycra at all. I know its very old school and impossible to find these days. But I love the feel of putting on a pair and after an day in them they start to mould to your body and then become the Go to pair in your closet.

Furniture Envy

This armoire is so beautiful I wish I had it or could get my hands on it any one know where I could purchase a similar one here in Vancouver?

This dining room in my eyes is so perfect, the table on that beautiful rug is what makes it.

I can imagine having lovely dinner parties with friends late late into the night.

Updating your Wardrobe For Spring

This would be perfect for a casual work day or day out with friends.

I love a great pair of jeans and this silhouette is so refreshing after years of super skinny jeans.

A great office outfit the cardigan is essential for those of us who always seem to find it cold at the office, even in the summer months.

I think I will have to make a trip to United Colors of Benetton.

Brunch

I was out for brunch over the weekend at Edible Canada on Granville Island and had this very unusual maple syrup Caesar with a slice of bacon in it. It was actually really good and very Canadian!
