Black Out Poems

 My husband and I bought each other this black out poem for our wedding anniversary.

The artist only sold 20 of each piece so they are relatively excliusive and very reasonably  priced.

We absolutely love ours, it hangs in my office and I find myself admiring it several times a day.

I love the idea of using a everyday piece of material like a newspaper clipping and creating something new and poetic, each piece speaks to someone differnt. Check out his site, the link is below.

Dinner

Summer's Last Hurrah Panzanella doesn't sound like something you would make in December but we had been craving something light and fresh. It turned out to be the perfect dinner and everyone couldn't get enough of the fresh crisp vegetables and the warm crunching home made croutons.

Gift Giving

I made a photo book for a friend after we shared a summer vacation together, it turned out so well that this Christmas I made one for my Mom and my Mother in law featuring a collection of all the special moments we had in the last couple of years. Mac makes the whole process so easy and the books look totally pro. Delivery is  usually so fast and on your door step within 5 days, can you believe that.
